Robot Replacement
Although generally more straightforward than a ground up, new cell, robot replacements present different challenges in their implementation.

KTM SYSTEMS limited understands the additional demands involved in replacing older equipment with new machinery and integrating this into the existing cell architecture and safety and control systems whilst causing minimal disruption to production.

Whereas the original installation may not have been subject to tight time constraints and production restrictions, robot replacements often involve essential equipment being taken off-line. Detailed site investigations and planning are key to a smooth transition from new to old within a limited time window whilst minimising process down time.
